The purpose of Chippewa, Luce, Mackinac, Community Action Agency is to mobilize and utilize resources, public and private in Chippewa, Luce, and Mackinac Counties in an attack on poverty. To provide decent affordable housing for persons of low and moderate income; to provide services and assistance in an effort to eliminate poverty. To develop employment opportunities, improve self-sufficiency and productivity to better the conditions under which people live, learn, and work. In the News CLMCAA Head Start on 9&10 News As part of the Eastern Upper Peninsula United Way Reading Buddies Program, included was Dr. Martin Luther King’s message of kindness. This message was read to children in the Head Start Program in Sault Sainte Marie.
